Expected Social Security COLA
The Social Security Cost-of-Living Adjustment is a vital component for
retirees which helps to ensure their benefit can keep pace (or at least
help to keep pace) with inflation over their retirement years.
Last year was the largest COLA increase in 41 years, coming in at
8.7%. With that increase fresh in mind and with all of us still feeling
the impact of inflation, some may think – or hope – for a similarly high
increase this year…and as such, will likely be in for a disappointment.

Client Spotlight
CHUCK & KATHY HAMILTON
Annually, our client Chuck Hamilton (and wife Kathy) join his
teammates and participate in the Bike MS: Deception Pass Classic.
Bike MS is the largest fundraising cycling series in the world. Each
year, nearly 50,000 cyclists and more than 5,000 teams ride together
to change the world for people with MS.
A note from Chuck after completing the race.
Bike MS: Deception Pass Classic 2023 is in the rear-view mirror, and
though my legs are reminding me I was a bit light on my training this
year (understatement!) I’m still alive to tell the tale!
According to the bike odometer, Saturday’s ride was 100.8 miles with
4,704’ of elevation gain; Sunday was a much easier 50.1 miles, 764’
elevation gain. As of this writing, I’m at $16,300 raised toward helping
the fight against MS!
Our team is proud to be a supporter of our client and their
commitment to raise awareness and funds to fight against MS!
